('DACIA', 2014, oil, acrylic, spray paint on canvas, 240 x 400cm)

Time in your mind

make it mine

It's in the way that I move

the brush

I don't want to choose

another day when I lose.

Baby let me take you home...

brush your nipples with my dick.

Somehow the forms

that emerge from these compositions have

anthropomorphic feat

ures. The lines are catc

hy, rhythmic, circular and sharp.

The clashing of colours and shapes is striking. In ‘DACIA’, the title of one of

my largest pieces is na

med after the first Romanian settlement 100 years BC

before the birth of R

omania, my native country. The painting is composed of

imagined archai

c shapes, relics, fossils and hybrid forms that form an idea of

the tribal and p

rimitive

In ‘MR E’

Iam inventing a head from tiny hybrid shapes. The head is disappearing and

forming like an

identity cocktail. I portray a turbulent visual grammar

- disturbing, compulsive and floral

My work explores identity, transform
ation and the future. I am influenced by expressive traditions of painting. My work is heavily dosed with eye-candy,
mature themes, a combination of co
lour and thick impasto. In painting I am in
terested in Romanian native folklore, art history, oriental patterns, embroideries, tattoos, Indian
abstraction, pre-Columbian tribal, Japanese
inks, neo-expressionism, abstract figuration, monumental scale, flow
ers, design and street art. The works deal with Freud
’s Uncanny
theory - where the familiar is corrupted by the
unfamiliar and the known haunted by the
unknown

THE FOREST

In the last weekend of September my imagery is infused with urba
n semiotics and atmospheric th
rills. This can be
seen in my painting ‘The Forest’
whi
ch is about the exotic flora of Suffolk and my universal
safari. I have found appropriatio
ns with culinary associations such as a Spanish Paella chaotically arranged on a plate, a pizza or a bowl of fruit.
It is as if I am interpreting these plates on ca
nvas.
I have worked in restaurants as a waiter. While there I have noticed the arrangement of food on the
plates, the fruits, the vegetables, the meat and the sauce. Sometimes I paint with my fingers, like eating with t
he h
ands, making the process about touch and sensation

Another example is the alert reality

envisaged in 'Midnight Rambler' a painting

that captures the wild,

sophisticated

and

primordial life. In my he

ad it's all wild.

In my head is dark.

Music playing all the time.

I am moody

and

fucking crazy
Picture
I painted a series of alliterations of

my life. My life is crude and awesome. I

stick my dick out in the

clear of the day.

I go to the beach and swim

like no

other. Like a moth

erfucker. Fuck the fox

catcher.

I am prey to the sensitives and the fugitives of the world.

Let's all run in he

aven on skateboards

and smile for a year

like Yoko.

Come in my studio and stay. I want you to stay

here with me and Riri.

I am going to show you wh

at's in my pants and under her

skirt. I am going to make love

to you in the blue skies. In the

forever mores of my love I am going to fuck the words out of you. You are

going

to leave flowers by my

head

Morning color

I am on my own

with my

millions

I kept it open

that's why it's tropical

and illogical.

I am smoking

on my own worries

and nothing to do with my friends

but you make me think of that happy life

when I am alone

And I am so happy

I fucking shine

Talk me through the stages of your alcohol

Was it all real?
